Standing Seam Metal Roofing

Transform your home with Standing Seam Metal Roofing.
The clean lines and beautiful finishes of our site made panels will set your house apart.

Standing seam metal roofing is a hidden fastener system. We use a traditional mechanical lock standing seam profile. It has a long history that stretches back hundreds of years. Its advantages are numerous. To name a few it is beautiful, fire resistant, capable of withstanding extreme wind speeds and has unmatched longevity. A standing seam metal roof will still look new in 15 years while an asphalt roof will be ready for replacement. Metal roofing is also easily recycled at the end of its very long lifespan, unlike asphalt shingles.

We roll-form all of our panels on site and make all of the trim in our shop on our sheet metal
brake. This allows us to customize the materials to your roof. Tapered panels, curved panels,
panels up to 80’ long, and trim that is integral to the panel is all possible with our tools and
equipment. Our site seamed panels can be used on low pitches down to 3 degrees with the addition of seam tape. We also use double fold flashing techniques that eliminate many of the weak points of competitors' standing seam.

A key difference between our system and exposed fastener metal roofing, is you guessed it...
the exposed fasteners. An exposed fastener roof can easily have 3,000 exposed screws. It is a
matter of when, not if these fasteners will fail. When these screws fail, they rot out the  sheathing around the screws. Standing seam when installed properly, also has the ability to expand and contract, unlike exposed fastener metal which is pinned in place by the screws.

The primary material we use is 24 gauge painted steel. There are quite a few options available
Aluminum, stainless steel, copper, zinc, weathering steel etc. 26 gauge steel is the least expensive option, with copper and zinc tying for the most expensive. We can roll-form any width of panels from 7” wide to a maximum of 31”. The most common width is 17” wide.
